Bohemian Dress

River Island Dress: ASOS
Vintage Clutch: Thrifted
Sandals: Plato's Closet
Jewelry: TJMaxx/Target/Jcpenny

This dress is the epitome of bohemian chic- a flattering cut with so many vibrant fabric details that pop against the white dress. I piled on the accessories, while still keeping it neutral. It’s such a breezy dress that makes a great bikini cover-up or can be dressed up (like pictured) for a date night look.

I found this dress from Roamans that is perfect for fall, while still keeping with the bohemian chic vibeIt’s a great transitional piece that can seamlessly carry over into the upcoming seasons. What’s not to love?!

Florals

Topshop Shirt: Thrifted ($3.99)
Floral Skirt: Plato's Closet ($1)
Bag: Thrifted ($4.99)
Madden Girl Sandals: Thrifted

There are some outfits that you wear that give you a happiness boost- this is one of them!
I went to Plato's Closet and they happened to have tons of skirts on clearance, all only a dollar. For some reason skirts tend to look way cuter when the price tag is only a dollar! I fell in love with the vibrant print so I paired it with neutrals to really showcase the bright, beautiful skirt.
Also, this outfit is entirely thrifted/secondhand. Booya!

It was a casual and comfy Sunday-the perfect kind.

High-Waisted and Distressed

Thursday, August 8, 2013

Top: c/o Marshalls
Levis: c/o Marshalls
Antik Clutch: c/o Marshalls
Studded Pumps: Marshalls

I kept it simple for this look but made sure each piece was a subtle statement. I’m crazy about this new top; the best part is that it’s a feminine take on a simple t-shirt- dainty buttons down the front and a slouchy fit. I added some studded pumps, a gorgeous beaded clutch, and some distressed high-waisted jeans for a casual, glam look
I’ve been totally drawn to high-waisted skinny jeans and these distressed ones were the perfect pair! I have some darker ones, so I was excited to find a completely different style that was still a flattering fit. They’re so similar to these high-rise jeans from Simons. Both pairs are budget friendly and super cute!
I wasn’t sure about high-rise jeans at first, but I’m now a believer.
