Armani Exchange Dress: Savers ($5!)
Sweater: Marshalls
Heels: Target

New Years Eve is one of my favorite nights because everyone dresses in their favorite sparkly item-I just wish it could be like this everyday!
When I'm looking for something sparkly, I always gravitate towards sequins. Sequins are my favorite fashion statement- I've never met a sequin I didn't love! I was deciding between a few pieces and found this dress at my local Savers and knew it was a winner. The chocolate/bronze sequins are so unique and unexpected, which made for a beautiful New Years dress. It was also a total score! I picked up this lovely Armani Exchange dress for $9.99, then got to the register only to find out it was half off. Knowing this beautiful dress only cost around $5 makes me love it more.

I hope 2013 was great to each of you.
I had such a blessed year and I'm looking forward seeing what 2014 has in store.
Thank you again for another year of your support. I appreciate you all!

Dress: Plato's Closet ($8)
Belt: Target
Bag: ℅ Marshalls
Booties: Target

I still haven't purchased any maternity clothes, but I know that time is coming soon. But for now, I'm enjoying repurposing non-maternity items in my closet, like this cute turquoise dress, for everyday outfits. It's amazing what a simple dress can do for your mood!

Hope you all enjoyed your holiday!

Over The Knee

Tuesday, December 17, 2013

Matty M Blouse: Thrifted ($4.99)
Rich & Skinny Jeans: Plato's Closet
DaniBlack Boots: TJMaxx
Bag: TJMaxx

I love dressing up, but somedays I opt for cozier outfits. Yesterday was one of those days!
I scored this blouse from the thrift store with the Nordstrom Rack tags still attached! I wanted to wear my over-the-knee boots that I got last year and decided that pairing it with a breezy blouse was the way to go. It was a chic outfit for a day full of errands.

Friday marked 20 weeks in my pregnancy. I feel so blessed.
I've been reading through comments (and doing my best to respond!) and feel so thankful for all the positive words. I appreciate you all. I know I have some expecting readers, so if you're looking for any outfit ideas, please let me know! I am now aware of how difficult it can be to not only dress for occasions, but for everyday! Let me know if you're interested in any specific outfit posts :)

Thank you so much for reading!

Leather Pants

Willow & Clay Jacket - c/o Marshalls
Blouse - c/o Marshalls
Genetic Leather Pants - c/o Marshalls
Studded Heels - Marshalls
Necklace - Thrifted

When my sister found out I was pregnant, she scoured the internet looking for maternity leather pants. My mom laughed when she heard, but Giulianna was spot on! The one item I really wanted was a pair of leather pants I could wear this winter. My other ones are high-waisted and we all know that's not gonna happen with this bump!
I was at Marshalls looking for an outfit for my date night and found these lovely pants on the clearance rack. I was crazy about the zippered details and how insanely comfortable they were. I found a tweed jacket to add a feminine touch to the outfit and some studded heels to finish the look.
Marshalls was so gracious to send my husband and I on a date night. You better believe I chose the one restaurant that had fried pickles. It was like a pregnant woman's dream, at least for me :)

Nick's food choice- a cheeseburger with a fried egg and PB&J.
For a second I thought he was the pregnant one.

Fried pickles!

Thank you to Marshalls for the amazing date night and an equally amazing outfit!

Leopard & Chambray

Tuesday, December 3, 2013

Chambray: Plato's Closet ($6)
Current/Elliott Jeans: Plato's Closet
Booties: Target ($20)
Oryany Bag: TJMaxx

I have finally found a chambray shirt!
I've been wanting one for forever, and discovered the perfect one while shopping at, you guessed it, Plato's Closet! It was only $6 and I've already made it a staple in my closet. I haven't paired denim and denim with it yet, so I decided printed jeans were the way to go. And since leopard is always one of my favorite prints, this outfit came together in a matter of seconds!

Did anyone go black friday shopping?
I made plans with my mom, but we both decided we were too full from Thanksgiving and tired to go. We went mid-day on Friday and I was amazed by Target's deals. Forget big screen TVs and fancy headphones! They had 40% off all shoes, clothing, and accessories. I picked up these boots that are perfect for rainy days or dressing up simple outfits. I love that the heel isn't too tall and that the fabric used won't get ruined if it rains. Definitely worth the $20 price tag!

Hope you all enjoyed your holiday and had many things to be thankful for!
Thank you so much for reading and don't forget to enter my giveaway for a pair of Cushe boots.
