Levis Jacket - c/o Marshalls
BCBGeneration Dress - Plato's Closet ($18)
Report Sandals - c/o Marshalls

Lately, I've been drawn to bright prints and pretty fabrics- this lovely maxi dress is the perfect combination of both. I purchased it while I was pregnant, knowing I would love to wear it during the summer months. I love the detailed straps and flowing chiffon that's draped in the front and back. We were visiting Pacifica, where the weather tends to be cooler, so I layered on a darker denim jacket for a little extra warmth.
Since we were visiting across the bay, we always make sure to stop by our favorite coffee shop. If you're a Bay Area native and a coffee lover, you may know where I'm talking about. Philz coffee not only has an amazing atmosphere, but they also serve the most delicious drink ever- the iced mint mojito. I can't even describe it, but it's so good I got one each day we were there. I wish I could replicate it at home, but sadly I don't think I can. Instead I'm sitting here drooling over the thought of having another one.

Sheer Kimono

Kimono & Sandals- c/o Marshalls
Tank - Target
Shorts - c/o AE

Whenever I wear a kimono, my mind ALWAYS goes to a specific scene in My Big Fat Greek Wedding. If you have seen the movie, you may have an idea what I'm talking about.
"Kimono, kimono, kimono. Ha! Of course! Kimono is come from the Greek word himona, is mean winter. So, what do you wear in the wintertime to stay warm? A robe. You see: robe, kimono. There you go!"

The local fair was in town for a few more days and I didn't want to pass up on the cotton candy, so we went and I was able to snap a few fun photos while I was there. I also shot an engagement shoot there the very next day! All the bright colors and pretty lights made for such a beautiful and fun backdrop. I had to wear something equally beautiful and fun, so I knew this bright, flowy kinomo was perfect. It was a recent find from Marshalls- I know they still have them in stock, along with about a million other incredible ones. When it's insanely hot here, a kimono is my go-to item to wear because it's so sheer, but still covers some of my skin to keep me cool. Plus, they come in so many lovely prints, it's hard to say no to that!

What has been your go-to item this summer?

Juicy Couture Dress - c/o Marshalls
Denim Jacket - Thrifted
Steve Madden Heels - Thrifted
Rebecca Minkoff Bag - Ebay

How to cure the Monday blues?
Wear the cutest dress possible!

I'm crazy about this Juicy Couture dress that I scored recently at Marshalls. The sides are tailored so perfectly and the geometric striping is very flattering. I don't know about you guys, but I love a good drop-waist dress. It's so feminine and perfect for summer.

Floral Romper - Necessary Clothing
Schutz Heels - ℅ Marshalls
Bag - Plato's Closet

In the beginning of June I went on a romper craze.
It was mainly because I realized just how practical and amazing they are. They are one-piece-which makes getting dressed easier and 1-step faster. They're a bit dressier than shorts and a t-shirt, but feel just as comfortable! You guys, rompers are seriously my jam. And this one is no exception. I love the floral print, the longer seam in the back, and of course, the surplice neckline.
I found a website that has the same exact rompers as NastyGal (creepy name, I know!) and they're substantially cheaper.
You can check them out here:

Eight Sixty Jumpsuit - ℅ Marshalls
Necklace - ℅ Marshalls
Bag - ℅ Marshalls
Sandals - Plato's Closet

This outfit was sent to me by a stylist from Marshalls and let me just say…she picked out some amazing items. Once I opened the package and saw the jumpsuit, I immediately changed into it. Not only is the black so sleek, it's cinched and loose in all the right places. Plus, being a nursing mother, I have to take that into account when getting dressed now, so you can imagine my excitement when I discovered the crossover surplice top completely opened up. Cute and practical?! So perfect! I love the way the gold Grecian-inspired necklace fits so perfectly with the feminine neckline.

I just finished up my year of Project Fab and working with Marshalls. I can't even begin to express how awesome it has been to work with such an amazing company. When I first started my blog, my dream was to work with Marshalls. My dream! This experience has been such a whirlwind of excitement and happiness seeing dreams become a reality. Hopefully this encourages new bloggers and anyone reading this to set goals and to continue to works towards them--no matter how big or scary they may seem! Also, to new bloggers out there- please feel free to comment or email me if you need help with blogging or have any questions. I'm not, by any means, a professional, but I do remember how daunting and confusing it is starting and maintaining a blog, so  I would love to share some encouragement to anyone who needs it.

Thank you all for your loyal reading, encouragement, and love on my blog.
I appreciate every single comment and email.
You are all amazing!
